Jane and Dave would like to invite you to our unique family home which is a converted Methodist Chapel in the beautiful Swaledale village of Muker.
We can offer you a friendly welcome and spacious private accommodation with separate entrance comprising a comfortable double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a large private hallway where we also serve breakfast.
Upper Swaledale is a popular area which is ideal for walking holidays at any time of the year with many footpaths leading from the village.
In May and June the protected and world renowned local hay meadows have an abundance of wild flowers.
Muker is ideally placed as a stopover on both the Pennine Way and the Coast-to-Coast long distance paths.
The village has a pub and tearoom both serving good food.
Muker is fortunate to still have a Silver Band. In years gone by most of the Dales villages had their own band but most have disappeared. The Muker Silver Band plays at many local events throughout the year, particularly at the annual Muker Show which is held on the first Wednesday of September.
