Jane and Dave would like to invite you to our unique family home which is a converted Methodist Chapel in the beautiful Swaledale village of Muker. We have been told many times that our home is “a heavenly place to stay”.
We can offer you a warm friendly welcome and spacious private accommodation with separate entrance comprising a comfortable double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a large private hallway where we also serve breakfast.
Upper Swaledale is a wonderful area, ideal for walking and exploring at any time of the year with many footpaths leading from the village.
In May and June the protected local hay meadows which are world renowned have an abundance of wild flowers. They may take you back to memories of your childhood.
Muker is ideally placed as a stopover on both the Pennine Way and the Coast-to-Coast long distance paths.
The village has an excellent pub and a tearoom both serving good food.
We are fortunate to still have a Silver Band. In years gone by most of the Dales villages had their own band but most have disappeared. The Muker Silver Band plays at many local events throughout the year, particularly at the annual Muker Show which is held on the first Wednesday of September.
